Creative Fabrica’s Full POD assets allow you to use designs unaltered on Print on Demand (POD) websites.
Whilst the Full POD license allows you to use the design without any alterations, we always recommend that you use our design assets to create an original design for your Print on Demand products. Unique products tend to perform better and are more likely to be accepted by the POD site. On our blog, the Artistry, we have inspirational blog posts on how you can do this.
It is also important to familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of the POD site you are uploading to. Some POD platforms may state additional requirements for products to be accepted for publication. If your product does not meet these guidelines, then your product may be rejected. Unfortunately, we cannot control how a 3rd party website makes decisions about what they allow on their platform.
If your product is rejected, we recommend that you take the following steps:
Check the reason for rejection
You should receive a message from the POD website about why your design was rejected. If you were not given a reason, you should always request this.
Check the policy of the Print on Demand site
Each POD website has their own guidelines/policies for what you can and cannot upload to their website. You should always make sure to follow these guidelines on the individual POD site.
For example, if the site does not allow unmodified designs at all, then you cannot upload unmodified designs. In this case, the Full POD license cannot be applied.
Use your License Key to prove the license
If you do have the right to use the design unaltered on the POD site, but your design gets rejected due to copyright, you should use your unique License Key to prove your rights.
If you purchase a Full POD product or download it with your All Access Subscription, you will be provided with a unique License Key that begins with 'pod_'. This License Key is your proof that you can use the product with Full POD usage rights.
If your design does get rejected by the POD site, and you have the correct license key, provide them with your license key code, together with the following links:

In case of trademark infringement
If you have uploaded a quote or a text, your design might be rejected due to trademark infringement.
If you have created a quote yourself, it is always good to confirm that the quote is not trademarked. For confirmation of trademarked phrases in the US, see here.
If you have used a quote as-is from Creative Fabrica that is trademarked, please reach out to us immediately so that we can take further action regarding the trademark infringement.
If you have followed the steps above and still cannot get your design approved, please reach out to our customer support at hi@creativefabrica.com so that we can help you further.
