What are the guidelines for setting up a store?

Having a nice storefront is always a benefit when it comes to representing your brand and your products. Once you have successfully opened a store on Creative Fabrica, there are several steps that you can take to complete your store's look before you start listing your products:

Upload a profile picture 

Add a profile picture in your store to give your store more presence. Be sure to choose an appropriate picture that represents your brand. This can be your logo or a portrait picture. To add a profile picture:

• Go to your dashboard and click Account.
• Click the plus sign under Logo.

• Select the picture from your device that you would like to upload. Please note that only jpg, jpeg files with a minimum size of 500px x 500px are allowed to be uploaded.
• Once you have selected a picture, it will be saved automatically and will appear in your store.

Upload a store banner 

A store banner is a great way to increase your presence and strengthen your brand. It will be the first thing people see when they enter your store. To add a banner:

• Go to your dashboard and click Account.
• Click the plus sign under Shop banner.

• Select the file from your device that you would like to upload. Please note that the store banner must be a .jpg or .png image with a size of 1220 x 250px.
• Once you have selected a store banner, it will be saved automatically and will appear in your store.
• Please note that you are not allowed to include any third-party links or personal contact information in your store banner.

Set up a store name

If you want to edit your store name, you need to do the following steps:

• Go to your dashboard and click Account.
• Go to Personal Data and click the green Edit button:

• Enter your new store name in the designated box. Please note that your store name becomes part of your store URL. Therefore, when changing your store name, all links will be updated. This means that you will need to update links from your site/social media etc.

• Once you have entered your new store name, make sure to tick the checkbox under your new store name to confirm that you understand when you changed your store name, your old links will not work anymore.
• Click Change my store name to finalize your changes.

Write something about your store in the About Your Store section

This is the perfect opportunity for you to tell your customers all about you and your store. This can be about the types of products you’re selling, your mission and vision as a designer, or even your future goals. It doesn’t have to be long, you can simply write a short and compelling one. This is not only the perfect chance to grab the attention of potential customers, but also great for your store’s SEO performance.
